Everyone deserves the chance to
enjoy impossible, scary or wonderful
worlds created right in their midst.
At your wish you can have a visit from
giant puppets, The Green
Man and the Hornsea Herring Gull.
Both are over ten feet tall, and in their
iconic looming confound the predictable
--your dreams and nightmares coming
true in the daytime.
From the little, portable booth (folds up
into a car and can be set up almost
anywhere, gardens, conservatories,
living rooms) are performed a range of
peculiar and instructive plays suitable
for *meetings* classes* weddings*
funerals and wakes*
*anniversaries* dull, rainy Thursdays wi'
nowt to do* days when you want the
world to be queer and lovely for free.
The repertoire includes:
“Exitintoday” (from theEgyptian Book of the Dead)
“The Diary of Samuel Pepys”
"Philemon and Baucis", based on Ovid's account of an old legend, and
"Macbeth for Ferrets", Shakespeare's classic vividly
re-enacted by a troupe of bushy-tailed ferrets and mink. (Look on
"Plays"page for more details and pictures)
The plays last about 45 minutes. They are suitable for audiences of up to 20 people.
